The ‘full choc monty’
Rich saw the introduction of a new range of premium doughnuts as an ideal opportunity to build the company’s profile and excite trade press and retail buyers.
The hero product in the range was the ‘full choc monty’ – double chocolate filling and coating.
To make a quick impact, we hit trade journalists with guerilla tactics. A team of female models, dressed in chocolate clothing, make up and chocolate scented perfume, gate crashed the offices of all trade publications with samples and press information.
On the spot briefings were undertaken. The icing on the cake: stacks of high impact coverage that resulted in listings with ASDA and Tesco.
