‘Spare tyre’ workout

Getting a tyre brand into the consumer press is a tough job. However, following a national survey we found that the average Brit carries the equivalent excess weight of a car tyre – a platform to launch the ‘spare tyre workout’; a branded exercise campaign using old car tyres. A tie up with national gym chain, LA fitness, a dedicated micro-site, dealer posters and leaflets, a video workout posted on YouTube and strong memorable national, regional, lifestyle and on-line coverage all gave the Continental brand massive exposure.
