A model campaign
Queensgate Shopping Centre had scheduled fashion shows in the centre throughout the first weekend in April. With just ten weeks to go, we had to pull out all the stops to generate maximum noise and impact. A ‘search for a model’ appeal sourced not only much needed child models but gained fantastic local press coverage and an exclusive ‘on-air’ appeal on Hereward FM.
Local mums were targeted through a special Mother’s Day competition placed in a series of local lifestyle magazines. The ultimate prize of winning a new spring collection and to wear it on the catwalk secured plenty of entrants and plenty of coverage.
Full page fashion features hit regional lifestyle media. Using GMTV’s high street fashion guru, Mark Heyes as a spokesperson secured coverage on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire’s Breakfast Show on the Friday before the event.
